Up and down the east and west coasts of America we traveled and to many of the best places in between; Across to Europe to appear in the UK, Ireland and France. Where most authors do just a handful of dates, this was more like one of the early Cure tours! No ‘normal’ sedate book tour this – what began as a plan to set up thirty events ended up expanding to more than seventy! I also saw some pretty cool bookstores and venues…
For several reasons, I wanted to get out there and meet as many of you as possible. Beyond being the best way to promote the book at the grassroots level, more importantly I wanted to say thank you, in person to all the people that have supported me over the years. I went back to some places that I hadn’t been to since the earliest Cure days and was overwhelmed by the support, love and kind sincerity of all the people that came to the events.
You made it all worthwhile for me.
